Genital
Warts
Genital
warts are skin lesions or growths that occur on
male or female genitalia as a result of a viral infection, called
the Human Papilloma virus. The infection is extremely common thought
the vast majority of the population are not aware of the infection.
The infection which is often silent becomes a problem when warts
appear or cause abnormal precancerous cells on the neck of the womb
(cervix) in a woman. Warts can be of various sizes form miniscule
to massive. They can be silent without symptoms or very troublesome
with irritation, discharge, bleeding or discomfort.
