Thrush
Vaginal
or vulvo-vaginal thrush
or Candidiasis is
caused by a fungal infection commonly called Candida
Albicans. This fungus is everywhere on the body
(in the mouth, bowel, vagina and penis) and usually does not lead
to any problems. In circumstances that lead to an imbalance of the
various organisms in the body, the Candida fungus can be overgrow
and cause symptoms.
